In 2009, Julia Bacolas conducted a menticide against her severely mentally ill (SMI) children from her first marriage, dually diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD):
ttps://juliebacolas.com/julia-bacolas
Her children were already symptomatic of mental illness, due to the hereditary dispositions of Julia Bacolas, whose malignant genetic NPD was already heavily documented at the end of her marriage and during the divorce and custody proceedings in 1998:
https://amandabacolas.com/julia-bacolas
This website is a case study of a Machiavellian malignant narcissist and her NPD heredity which was passed to her children, with case studies of each SMI individual in support of this thesis. This study is a conclusion of Michael Robertson's unfinished Master's Thesis, "Accelerating Children's Cognitive Development."
The conclusion is apparent: Children who are prescreened in early cognitive testing with brain abnormalities of cognitive, language, and developmental dysfunction should not have their cognitive development accelerated, as those early childhood screenings of cognitive retardation are indicative of abnormal brain development, which are cognitive markers for Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).
Children who are identified in early childhood cognitive screenings for NPD should not have their cognitive development accelerated, as it produces adults with higher levels of criminal and malignant reasoning, and exasperates their hereditary dispositions for the expression of severe mental illness as adults:
https://juliebacolas.com/christopher-bacolas
These conclusions do not imply children with developmental cognitive delays as markers for NPD should not receive special needs services to become adaptive children.
These conclusions support the premise that beyond special needs interventions, NPD children should not have their cognitive development accelerated to gifted and genius levels, as individuals suffering from this disorder have areas of the brain with abnormalities in the expression of emotional and cognitive empathy:

Therefore, accelerating children to a gifted level of intelligence with an absence, or low, cognitive function for empathy, has the deleterious effect of creating adult individuals with hyper criminality and malignancy with the diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
This content is for the parties who are its subject matter.
When dealing with malignant narcissism, the perpetrators must be faced with the truth of their conduct, for proper mental health awareness and healing can take place with the perpetrators of such abuse. The secondary reason for this content is to repair the reputation of Michael Robertson, grossly destroyed by these malicious attacks against his person and character by these perpetrators. And finally, the content is used as a case study in the treatment of other survivors of narcissistic abuse:

Jennifer Marie Bacolas was born to Michael Robertson in 1992. She was his second daughter of seven children.
Michael moved to Phoenix, Arizona, from Anchorage, Alaska, in 1990. He relocated his family in order to receive an undergraduate education and attend law school.
Jennifer was diagnosed with severe developmental, cognitive, and language delays in early childhood screenings. Michael Robertson changed his educational pursuits in law and took up the field of developmental psychology in order to understand and help his daughter remedy her mental and cognitive deficits.
Jennifer Bacolas was diagnosis with cognitive retardation in 1995 on Cognitive Abilities Testing administered by the Washington School District (test results available upon request).
Jennifer Bacolas scored 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 standard deviations below the "mean" on cognitive tests, translating into an IQ of a child with severe mental deficiencies bordering on an IQ equivalent of mental retardation. Three of Michael's four children were screened and evaluated as having these cognitive and developmental deficiencies (school records and cognitive test scores showing progress from retardation to giftedness is available upon request). These brain abnormalities have been linked with the expression of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) and effects the areas of the brain responsible for empathy.

Michael Robertson survived the abuse of having his youngest daughter, Jennifer Bacolas, the victim of grotesque sexual molestation by pedophile, Ed Stoffers in 1998. As a sick twist of fate, in 2009, Michael's step-daughter, Kalin Wynn, was brutally raped by registered sex offender, Phillip Menting, now serving a 35 year sentence in Arizona for that crime.
Michael Robertson worked on his Master's Thesis, "Accelerating Children's Cognitive Development" and applied those theories to the developmental and cognitive delays with Jennifer and her siblings. Consequently, the child experienced rapid dendritic growth and went from an IQ of mental retardation to intellectual giftedness, receiving special needs services through the remainder of her elementary school years at the Washington School District in Phoenix, Arizona, for the gifted and talented (school records and cognitive test scores showing progress from retardation to giftedness is available upon request).
Tragedy struck Jennifer Marie Bacolas when her mother's boyfriend, Ed Stoffers, in 1998 sexually molested her while under her mother's care (as validated through CPS records, the Glendale Police Department in Arizona, and audio tape sessions with trauma counselor Rochelle Silverman (evidentiary documents available upon request). Consequently, Michael Robertson was made the custodial parent of Jennifer and her siblings and the mother, Julia Bacolas (aka Julie Stoffers, aka Julie Allor) fled Phoenix and the joint custody of her common children to protect Edward Stoffers from questioning and the eventual prosecution for this assault.
Jennifer grew up as a child with peculiarities and quarks her father attributed to her developmental and cognitive challenges, as well as from the heavily documented sexual abuse she experiences by Edward Troy Stoffers. Research indicates that Jennifer's "problems" were a direct result of areas of the brain that were physiologically absent, responsible for the human emotions of empathy, stemming from the child's cognitive decencies and developmental delays (reflecting an absence of this area of the brain). Although Michael Robertson's acceleration of Jennifer's cognitive development was highly successful in the areas of intellect and language acquisition,
Jennifer's maladaptive behavior patterns and scholarly support points to narcissism, as the child was devoid of the ability to have empathy for others. Michael was successful with Jennifer's dendritic growth that transformed her from a cognitive challenged child into one with intellectual giftedness, but dendritic growth cannot occur in areas of the brain where neurons are absent due to inherited brain development passed on by her mother.

Sociopathic and narcissist behaviors began to manifest in Jennifer's teenage years, which exasperated into a psychiatric disorder with full blown psychotic features, brought to fruition by the return of Julie Bacolas into her estranged children's lives and a bizarre refabrication to Jennifer and her severely mentally ill siblings of the events of the sexual molestation by her boyfriend and her maternal abandonment of Jennifer and her siblings.
As a result of her mothers mental manipulation of this child's tragic history, the cognitive deficiencies that could not be remedied in areas of the brain responsible for empathy, severe sociopathy developed with Jennifer marked by biological factors that led to expression of Narcissist traits and the development of psychotic features with the symptoms of bipolar disorder.
These maladaptive behaviors were expressed due to symptoms caused by her mother’s mental manipulations, her hatred for Michael Robertson's second wife (who Jennifer clams took money that should have gone to his older children), hostility towards her father for the multiple police calls he made regarding Jennifer's promiscuity with older men during her teenage years, her failure to get her own son special needs services at the onset of a developmental diagnosis, her continued alcohol and drug use, and paternity fraud Jennifer perpetrated on an African American man by the name of Marcus Moore, now living in the state of Pennsylvania.
Michael Robertson attempted to obtain mental health interventions with Jennifer as a teenager and young adult, locally in the community and also by contacting her trauma therapist from her childhood sexual molestation by Ed Stoffers (Rochelle Silverman was a practicing counseling psychologist in Miami, Florida, and made herself available to return to Arizona to provide therapy to Jennifer and her siblings in light of the mental abuse caused by the return of Julie Bacolas into the family dynamic).
At this time, Jennifer and her severely mentally ill siblings had to relive the trauma of Jennifer's sexual abuse in 1998 at the hands of Edward Troy Stoffers due to events associated with Jennifer's step sister, Kalin Wynne, and Michael Robertson's second wife, Twalla Robertson.
in 2009, while under the care and supervision of her biological father, David Wynne, Michael Robertson's step daughter, Kalin Wynn, was kidnapped and brutally raped by registered sex offender, Phillip Menting, now serving a 35 year prison sentence in Arizona for those crimes. A family friend, Amy Powell, who came to this little girl's aid during the rape, was herself assaulted when she intervened in the rape. Amy Powell committed suicide in 2019.
Due to issue with Kalin's mother, Twalla Robertson, that warranted further vetting, Michael Robertson was vetted by the Department of Child Safety as a fit and proper parent for placement and the child resided with Michael as her protective step-father until Kalin reached adulthood.
After a long period of estrangement with Jennifer Bacolas due to her untreated symptoms of mental illness, her untreated expression of symptoms of Narcissistic disorder, and her general disdain towards Michael Robertson's second wife (which she viewed as taking resources away from her and her siblings), Jennifer Bacolas injected herself into a dependency matter regarding her father's two minor sons, stemming from substance abuse issues and apathetic parenting by his second wife, Twalla Robertson, in 2018.
A victim of ongoing menticide and brain washing by Julia Bacolas (from years of mental manipulation and a refabrication of the trauma of her failures as a mother of their common children) along with the "damage control" orchestrated by DCS case worker Lisa Millett and DCS supervisor Joelle Higby. In order to prevent anther civil settlement against the Department of Child Safety and the State of Arizona (both acutely aware of the multiple traumas survived by the heavily vetted Michael Robertson as a parent), DCS injected this severely mentally ill, malignant narcissist before the juvenile court with impeachable interviews (and bizarre and unusual statements contradicting the documentary evidence in DCS case files dating back to 1998), in order to create prejudice before the court to avoid returning the children back to Michael Roberson's care.
In 2017 Michael changed his name from Bacolas to Robertson and he was out of the home during the children's removal. Basically, the worker who removed the minor children from the mother may not have been aware at the time of removal that Michael Robertson was in fact Michael Bacolas Sr., heavily vetted by the department as a fit parent over a 23 year period (the survivor of multiple traumas and domestic abuse to his family and children, and an established behavioral health provider to children and families in Arizona). Lisa Millett and the Department of Child Safety went on "damage control mode" according to Michael Robertson, with heavily documented wrong doing by the department to protect DCS and it's employees from the consequence of yet another civil settlement for wrongly removing a child from the care of a multiple vetted parent.
The vaudeville show of malignant narcissist Jennifer Bacolas and her associates was perpetrated by Lisa Millett and Joelle Higby and orchestrated to protect the department and the state from another civil settlement by an outstanding parent, due to improper removal of his minor children from his care while out of the home.

DCS knows the father is a survivor of multiple traumas over the past 22 years, and he is a survivor of domestic abuse.
Michael Robertson is a 22 year abuse survivor, already documented with the Department of Child Safety and vetted as recently as 2017 as a fit and proper parent.
Julie Bacolas deserted her children in a middle of a divorce proceeding, after the father was made the custodial parent of their four common children. After custodial parenting was granted to the father, based on documented evidence of Julie Bacolas' chronic crystal meth amphetamine use, prostitution to support that drug habit, desertion of her family on several occasions prior to the father's divorce filing, and her general apathy toward parenting her children, the father was made the custodial parenting of their four common children.
After the father was made the custodial parent in 1998, it was found that their youngest daughter
had been sexually abused by her boyfriend, Edward Troy Stoffers. Julie's visitation was never terminated, but conditions were placed that her children would have no contact with the accused perpetrator.
The Australian newspaper recently reported the royal commission investigating institutional child sex abuse was advocating psychologists use “potentially dangerous” therapy techniques to recover repressed memories in clients with history of trauma. The reports suggest researchers and doctors are speaking out against such practices, which risk implanting false memories in the minds of victims.
The debate about the nature of early trauma memories and their recovery isn’t new. Since Sigmund Freud developed the idea of “repression” – where people store away memories of stressful childhood events so they don’t interfere with daily life – psychologists and law practitioners have been arguing about the nature of memory and whether it’s possible to create false memories of past situations.
Recovery from trauma for some people involves recalling and understanding past events. But repressed memories, where the victim remembers nothing of the abuse, are relatively uncommon and there is little reliable evidence about their frequency in trauma survivors. According to reports from clinical practice and experimental studies of recall, most patients can partially recall events, even if elements of these have been suppressed.
Sigmund Freud introduced the concept of child abuse underlying disorders such as hysteria.
Freud introduced the concept that child abuse is a major cause of mental disorders such as hysteria, also known as conversion disorder. People with these disorders could lose bodily functions, such as the ability to move one of their limbs, following a stressful event.
The concept of repressing traumatic memories was part of this model. Repression, as Freud saw it, is a fundamental defensive process where the mind forgets or places events, thoughts and memories we cannot acknowledge or bear elsewhere.
Freud also suggested that if these memories weren’t recalled, it could result in physical or mental symptoms. He argued symptoms of a mental disorder can be a return of the repressed memories, or a symbolic way of communicating a traumatic event. An example would be suddenly losing speech ability when someone has a terrible memory of trauma they feel unable to disclose.
This idea of hidden traumas and their ability to influence psychological functioning despite not being recalled or available to consciousness has shaped much of our current thinking about symptoms and the need to understand what lies behind them.
Those who accept the repression interpretation argue children may repress memories of early abuse for many years and that these can be recalled when it’s safe to do so. This is variously referred to as traumatic amnesia or dissociative amnesia. Proponents accept repressed traumatic memories can be accurate and used in therapy to recover memories and build up an account of early experiences.

Freud later withdrew his initial ideas around abuse underlying mental health disorders. He instead drew on his belief of the child’s commonly held sexual fantasies about their parents, which he said could influence formation of memories that did not did not mean actual sexual behavior had taken place. This may have been Freud caving in to the social pressures of his time.
This interpretation lent itself to the false memory hypothesis. Here the argument is that memory can be distorted, sometimes even by therapists. This can influence the experience of recalling memories, resulting in false memories.
Those who hold this view oppose therapy approaches based on uncovering memories and believe it’s better to focus on recovery from current symptoms related to trauma. This group point out that emotionally traumatic memory can be more vividly remembered than non-traumatic memories, so it wouldn’t hold these events would be repressed. They remain skeptical about reclaimed memories and even more so about therapies based on recall – such as recovered memory therapy and hypnosis.

The 1990s saw the height of these memory wars, as they came to be known, between proponents of repressed memory and those of the false memory hypothesis. The debate was influenced by increasing awareness and research on memory systems in academic psychology and an attitude of scepticism about therapeutic approaches focused on encouraging recall of past trauma.
In 1992, the parents of Jennifer Freyd, who had accused her father of sexual assault, founded the False Memory Syndrome Foundation. The parents maintained Jennifer’s accusations were false and encouraged by recovered memory therapy. While the foundation has claimed false memories of abuse are easily created by therapies of dubious validity, there is no good evidence of a “false memory syndrome” that can be reliably defined, or any evidence of how widespread the use of these types of therapies might be.
Both sides do agree that abuse and trauma during critical developmental periods are related to both biological and psychological vulnerability. Early trauma creates physical changes in the brain that predispose the individual to mental disorders in later life. Early trauma has a negative impact on self-esteem and the ability to form trusting relationships. The consequences can be lifelong.
A therapist’s role is to help abuse survivors deal with these long-term consequences and gain better control of their emotional life and interpersonal functioning. Some survivors will want to have relief from ongoing symptoms of anxiety, memories of abuse and experiences such as nightmares.
Others may express the need for a greater understanding of their experiences and to be free from feelings of self-blame and guilt they may have carried from childhood. Some individuals will benefit from longer psychotherapies dealing with the impact of child abuse on their lives.
Most therapists use techniques such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy, which aren’t aimed exclusively at recovering memories of abuse. The royal commission has heard evidence of the serious impact of being dismissed or not believed when making disclosures of abuse and seeking protection. The therapist should be respectful and guided by the needs of the survivor.

Right now, we need to acknowledge child abuse on a large scale and develop approaches for intervention. It may be time to move beyond these memory wars and focus on the impacts of abuse on victims; impacts greater than the direct symptoms of trauma.
It’s vital psychotherapy acknowledges the variation in responses to trauma and the profound impact of betrayal in abusive families. Repetition of invalidation and denial should be avoided in academic debate and clinical approaches.
